Paris Brain Institute

In 2010, Professors Yves Agid, Olivier Lyon-Caen and Gérard Saillant launched the Paris Brain Institute, then known as Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle Epinière. Paris Brain Institute leverages an innovative concept and structure, making it the only institute of its kind in the world. 

Located in the heart of the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital, one of the largest neurological centers in the world, Paris Brain Institute brings patients, doctors, researchers, and entrepreneurs together, intending to rapidly develop treatments for disorders of the nervous system and enable patients to benefit from them as quickly as possible.

The best scientists from all backgrounds and countries collaborate to perform leading-edge research at the Institute. Government agencies, corporate actors, and individuals must all play their parts to help researchers advance in their work and give patients tangible reasons for hope.

No one can afford to idly stand by because this fight is vital to every one of us.
